Aston Martin reveals its second fastest production car in 100 years
Aston Martin is fighting back against Lamborghini, Ferrari and Mercedes-Benz. The new V12 Vantage S has 565 horsepower and can hit 205 mph, making it more than a match for cars like the Gallardo, 458 Italia, and SLS AMG. Set to arrive early next year, the order books for the V12 Vantage S are already open. In its 100 years of existence, this is officially the second fastest production car to come from the pedigreed stables of Aston Martin. The 2015 V12 Vantage S ranks only behind the extremely limited-production (and now discontinued) One-77 supercar in terms of sheer pace and performance.
