Amazon: The logo of Amazon.com doesn't seem to hide much at first sight, but it gives you a little insight in the philosophy behind the brand. First of all, the yellow swoosh looks like a smile: Amazon.com want to have the best customer satisfaction. The swoosh also connects the letters a and z, meaning that this store has everything from a to z. FedEx: This is probably one of the best known logos with a hidden meaning. If you look closely, you'll see an arrow that's formed by the letters E and x. This arrow symbolizes speed and precision, two major selling points of this company.

Controversial Racist Ad of Coles Australia
A COLES contractor has been slammed for a racist job advert, banning Indian or Asian applicants. The online advert was posted on Sunday, seeking cleaners for a Coles supermarket at Eastlands Shopping Centre in Hobart, Australia. The ad in part read: Store requires no indians or asians please. MUST SPEAK ENGLISH. The advert, on the Gumtree website, generated outrage on social media sites, with calls for people to boycott the store and lodge complaints. The job ad was later removed from the site. A Coles spokesman yesterday admitted the advert had been posted by a contract company responsible for cleaning its Rosny store. The ad was placed without Coles' knowledge and we were extremely concerned to learn of the ad and its contents, spokesman Jim Cooper said. Tasmanian Anti-Discrimination Commissioner Robin Banks said she wanted to track down the cleaning contractor to pursue possible legal action.

Ireland emerged from the conflict that marked its birth as an independent state to become one of Europe's economic success stories in the final decade of the twentieth century. Long under English or British rule, Ireland lost half its population in the decades following the Great Potato Famine of the 1840s, becoming a nation of emigrants. Economic protectionism was dismantled in the late 1950s and Ireland joined the European Economic Community in 1973. This resulted in rapid economic expansion, particularly from 1995 to 2007, which became known as the Celtic Tigerperiod. A developed country with the seventh highest Human Development Index, Ireland is also highly ranked for press, economic and political freedom. Ireland is hugely popular among tourists for its scenic beauty and picturesque countryside.
