Steve Jobs wax statue at Madame Tussauds

The man who shaped contemporary consumer technology died on October 5, 2011. To mark the first anniversary of Steve Jobs' death, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong unveiled a new wax figure of inventor and technology pioneer, Steve Jobs, on September 27, 2012.

The statue unveiled on Sep 27 cost HK$1,500,000 to create and a dedicated team of sculptors and hair and colour artists worked for three months to achieve an amazingly accurate likeness.

Explore coral reefs on Google Street View

Now you can explore coral reefs on Google Street View. Panoramic images of reefs were gathered by the Catlin Seaview Survey - a project which studies the health of coral reefs, and the impact of global warming.

The Catlin Seaview Survey is creating a record of the Earth's coral reefs. They are home to 25% of ocean species, but are endangered by changes to the oceans. Warmer waters, increasing acidification of our seas and increased intensity of storms are all endangering their future health.
